A history of serving mission-focused organizations.

We believe good leadership reverberates: in strategic decisions, inspired messages, even chance encounters. It can shift the course of an organization and ignite change that ripples far beyond their reach.

We also believe leaders are at their best when they are connected: immersed in community, sharpened by wisdom, grounded in accountability. Our mission is to weave those connections, so no leader carries the weight of their calling alone.

Leadwell was born out of a passion to walk alongside leaders as they pursued the calling on their lives. From the beginning, we’ve believed that leadership shapes everything. That the difference between a thriving and declining organization is a leader leading well.

This mission took root in 1997 with the founding of The Ligon Group, serving leaders in the Christian publishing world helping them maximize the reach of their work. Over the years, that same commitment drew us beyond publishing to pastors, churches, and mission-minded organizations navigating transition, strategy, and seasons of change.

By 2025, our growth and reach had outgrown the original name. We became Leadwell, a reflection of the same mission carried forward: to equip leaders with the clarity, connection, and courage they need to create lasting impact.
